Mollie to compete in Dubai

Club Captain Mollie Fisher flies to the UAE this week and will represent Team England in the Middle Eastern Championships. Mollie will spend the week in Dubai starting with three days training followed by three days of competition. She is part of a 75-strong national team taking part who have been selected as a result of their inclusion in the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE). Mollie is working towards DiSE through Loughborough College. It is a two year BTEC course which she is completing alongside her A-Levels. Mollie has chosen to compete in 7 events in Dubai and will be the first Rotherham Metro swimmer in several years to represent her country. The training and competition takes place at the Hamdan Sports Complex (Hamdan Sports Complex (hamdansc.com)) which is an impressive world class facility.
