Our Record Breakers are at it again!

Oliver Davis-Tootill and Mollie Fisher were yet again breaking records at the Leeds National Qualifier Meet last weekend.

On Saturday, Ollie again broke his 100m backstroke record which he had only set earlier this month. In the event held at the John Charles Centre, he achived a time of 1:02.21.

On Sunday, Mollie bettered her own time in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:29.29 beating a time she had only set the previous week at the British Swimming Championships.

Well done to both swimmers!

Records broken at British Champs

Last week’s British Swimming Championships at Ponds Forge last week saw more records broken by our club captains.

Luke Booth started the week breaking his own 400m freestyle record with a time of 4:04.94. He followed this up by again breaking his own record in the 800m freestyle with a time of 8:30.22.

On the same day, Mollie Fisher broke her own club record in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:30.33.

Well done to both swimmers!

Record breaking Ollie does it again!

Oliver Davis-Tootill excelled again at the second Derventio open meet of the year by again breaking his own club record for the 100m backstroke in the Boys Under 15 Long Course category with a time of 1:02.44. Well done to Ollie and I’m sure we’ll see more records broken before his birthday in July.
